My neighbor had a baby girl, so I went in search for a nice quick baby sweater and hat for her daughter. I decided on the 5 Hour Baby Sweater at Wool Works and made it in a medium purple acrylic. Since the sweater had a lot of St st on it, I thought a nice addition would be the Newborn Adjustable Hat by Frugal Knitting Haus. I didn't like how the hat "folded" when it was lace, so I laced through like the directions said, then tied it, and turned it over and tied it with a bow on the other side - making the laces pull the folds in and giving it a more rounded look at the top.
